Collaboration between DYPA and France Travail for the exchange of know- how in the employment field

On the 15-16 July 2025 a DYPA delegation conducted a study visit at the Head Office of the French Public Employment Service (France Travail) in Paris and at the local employment office in Saint-Denis. During the visit a two-year Collaboration Agreement was signed which places special emphasis on the exchange of know-how, mutual learning and the development of innovative solutions.

The DYPA–France Travail collaboration first started back in 2023 through work meetings in the framework of the Technical Support Instrument of the European Commission (DG REFORM), which is supported by OECD.

This particular study visit sealed the continuation of this collaboration and opened up new perspectives for joint actions.

During the first day the Greek delegation met with «Les entreprises s’engagent», a community of businesses which has more than 100.000 members, and learnt about social responsibility initiatives and support for vulnerable groups.

The second day the Greek delegation had a number of meetings with the France Travail Administration, which were focused on digital services, data utilization and artificial intelligence (AI) applications. This was followed by a visit to the local office in Saint-Denis, where discussions were held on the challenges and the solutions on the frontline service for the unemployed, young people and vulnerable groups. Finally, the reforms of the French labour market were also presented.

DYPA continues the international dialogue and the strategic collaborations, thus enhancing its attempts to modernise the employment services, to support citizens and to match the labour force with the labour market.

DYPA Governor, Spyros Protopsaltis, stated:

"Upgrading the services we offer is a standing priority for DYPA. International collaborations such as this with France Travail, enable us to draw on valuable know-how, to exchange good practices and to strengthen our planning for the provision of high-quality, innovative services to the unemployed persons, employees, and businesses." DYPA will continue with passion on the path of extroversion while taking advantage of every opportunity to successfully meet our strategic goals and to achieve measurable results to the labour market".
