High response to DYPA’s upgraded JOBmatch 2.0 application
DYPA’s upgraded JOBmatch 2.0 application has met with a particularly high response from jobseekers; moreover, the new JOBmatch Business 2.0 application has seen an equally enthusiastic response from employers in the tourism and hospitality sectors. These applications directly connect businesses with jobseekers in these sectors.
Within its very first week of operation, 2,688 jobseekers registered on the revamped JOBmatch 2.0, of whom 1,587 (59%) are registered as unemployed with DYPA (an increase of 12% compared to previous figures).
Even more notable is a 44% increase in business registrations: over 3,900 employers have registered on JOBmatch Business 2.0, posting 2,387 new job openings. More than 9,500 job matches have already been made.
Launched in May 2024, DYPA’s JOBmatch application for jobseekers and JOBmatch.dypa.gov.gr platform for businesses were developed to address the growing staffing needs in the tourism industry through targeted job matching.
During its first year of operation, the JOBmatch application has enabled fast and effective connections between employers and candidates. A total of 22,068 jobseekers registered, half of whom (11,068) were unemployed. At the same time, over 3,900 businesses used the JOBmatch.dypa.gov.gr platform, resulting in a total of 41,741 matches.
The new version introduces new features that significantly simplify the matching process, making it more interactive and user-friendly. Indeed, the upgraded application enhances the overall user experience and helps meet labour market needs quickly and efficiently — particularly in the key sectors of tourism and hospitality.
