Over 6,000 jobs from 200+ businesses at the DYPA "Career Days" on May 23-24 in Athens

Hundreds of leading businesses offering thousands of jobs are going to participate in the 44th "Career Day" event held by DYPA, the Greek Public Employment Service, on Friday and Saturday, May 23 and 24, at the Peristeri Exhibition Centre (Dodekanisou st. 106, Peristeri, 12134), from 10:00 to 18:00. 

So far, more than 200 businesses have registered for the event, offering over 6,000 jobs, in all occupational sectors and for all specialisation levels.

Visitors will have the opportunity to talk directly with HR representatives from hundreds of businesses looking for staff. They will also receive valuable information about the skills most in-demand and hand in their CVs to claim jobs corresponding to their employment goals.

During the two-day event, participants will have significant networking opportunities, as well as the chance to participate in initial job interviews, without a prior appointment, in pursuit of their desired career.

Participating businesses are active in the following sectors: industries (food and beverage, clothing, cosmetics, hygiene products, pharmaceuticals, paints, building materials, metal constructions, paper, etc.), wholesale and retail trade (food, clothing and footwear, household goods, electricity, cars, etc.), construction and engineering, information technology, telecommunications, aircraft ground handling, renewable energy sources, services (banking, consultancy, insurance, medical services, printing), education, transport, tourism, catering and entertainment.

Participating businesses are looking for staff in the following occupational sectors: electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, electronic automation engineers, chemical engineers, chemists, steamfitters, quality control officers, machine operators, welders, design and production engineers, security officers, civil engineers, all types of technicians, sales consultants, storekeepers, drivers, cashiers, production workers, security guards. Additional occupational sectors include tourism-related occupations, teaching staff, accountants, administrators, biologists, nurses, midwives, beauticians, graphic designers, typographers, project managers, marketing executives, and IT-related staff (web and software developers and engineers, IT database administrators, IT and information system engineers).

During the event, officers of DYPA’s Service Unit for Medium and Large Enterprises (ΜΕΜΜΕ) will be providing information about the jobs offered, as well as about DYPA's measures and programmes.
