250 business plans created by unemployed persons in 5 regions of Greece were approved for a subsidy of €14,800 – The programme is still open for application

DYPA has completed the evaluation of the business plans submitted in the 1st cycle of the entrepreneurship programme for unemployed persons in the Regional Units of Kastoria, Achaia, Serres, Rhodes, and in the Municipalities of Perama, Keratsini-Drapetsona and Salamina.

Applicants can access DYPA’s eServices IIS using their personal login credentials to check application results.

Upon their acceptance into the programme, beneficiaries are going to receive a subsidy for a period of 12 months, starting on the date of the business activity commencement. The subsidy amounts to €14,800, to be granted in three installments, as follows:

  • 1st installment, amounting to €4,000, after the business activity commencement
  • 2nd installment, amounting to €5,400 after the end of the 1st semester
  • 3rd installment, amounting to €5,400, after the end of the 2nd semester.

Since the start of the 2nd cycle of the entrepreneurship programme, on April 28, 2025, unemployed persons have shown increased interest in applying for the programme.

The programme is addressed to 850 unemployed persons aged 18-60 from the Regional Units of Kastoria, Achaia, Serres, Rhodes, and the Municipalities of Perama, Keratsini-Drapetsona and Salamina, and aims to promote entrepreneurship through the creation of new businesses in 5 eligible areas.

Subsidy applications, accompanied by the business plan proposals, are to be submitted online at:

Based on the benchmarking methodology, DYPA will evaluate all the applications submitted and select the ones approved.

The total budget for the entrepreneurship programme amounts to €12,580,000 and is funded by the Recovery and Resilience Facility.
