OBJECTIVE

The programme is aimed at creating 7.000 new full-time jobs for unemployed people in the Regional Units of Kastoria, Achaia, Serres, Rhodes and in the Municipalities of Perama, Keratsini - Drapetsona and Salamina.

ELIGIBLE BUSINESSES

Private businesses that are active in the Regional Units of Kastoria, Achaia, Serres, Rhodes and in the Municipalities of Perama, Keratsini - Drapetsona and Salamina.

BENEFICIARIES

Unemployed persons, registered with DYPA's Digital Register aged 18+, who reside and are going to be employed in the eligible areas.

STATE AID STATUS

The state aids provided in this Action are granted in accordance with Regulation (EU) No. 2023/2831 on de minimis aids.

Eligible businesses should not have reduced their staff over the month prior to the application, nor should they have received a state aid of more than €300,000 over the past 3 years.

DURATION

The subsidy lasts 4 months.

SUBSIDY AMOUNT

a) If the business opts to hire a long-term unemployed person, the subsidy amount is 80% of the wage and non-wage costs for a maximum amount of €951,57 per month.

b) If the business opts to hire a regular unemployed person, the subsidy amount is 60% of the wage and non-wage costs for a maximum amount of €713,68 per month.

PROCEDURE

• Businesses define the number of jobs, the specialities and the necessary qualifications.

• DYPA confirms that the business meets the conditions and an employment counsellor will refer job candidates to the business in accordance with the qualifications required for the vacancy.

• The business chooses one of the candidates and recruits the unemployed person.
