36.778 registered unemployed persons have found a job through the DYPA employment programmes during the first semester of 2025

Almost 37.000 unemployed persons benefited from DYPA's employment subsidy programmes during the first six months of 2025, setting a new record, while 246.920 unemployed persons in total have found a job through DYPA's subsidy programmes since August 2019.

DYPA’s subsidy programmes aim to create new jobs, facilitate the acquisition of work experience, promote entrepreneurship as well as special subsidy programmes. DYPA’s programmes also include many actions funded by the European Recovery Fund and the NSRF.

According to the relevant study conducted by the Strategic Planning Directorate analysing data from DYPA's Integrated Information System (IITS), during the first semester:

• 12.260 unemployed persons (33%) have found a job through Job Creation programmes

• 11.521 unemployed persons applications (31%) submitted for funding to start their own business were approved (entrepreneurship programmes)

• 7.133 unemployed persons (19%) have found a job through special employment subsidy programmes

• 5.864 young unemployed persons aged 18-29 (16%) participated in work experience programmes.
